CRAZY FOR....

I have been a huge fan of Clare Vivier handbags since I first bought her original messenger bag in black back in 2008.  At the time I discovered her amazing bag I discovered it via a blog and went online to her small shop to purchase the messenger bag directly from her site.  Since then, she has grown into a go to source for the classic, timeless leather handbag. Clare was a journalist working for French television when she was traveling with her laptop and for lack of anything cute in the marketplace, so she fabricated her own padded envelope, and the rest is history.  I particularly like that from conception to fabrication her line has been made exclusively in Los Angeles since 2008, consciously engaging in ethical manufacturing practice without compromise. I've had my original black messenger for over 4 years now and I can personally tell you that it is still in amazing condition and held up incredibly well since I admit I'm a little bit hard on my handbags.  Currently on my wish list is the gorgeous La Tropezienne, isn't it fabulous? CUT OFF CRAZY

My absolutely very favorite thing to wear during the summer happens to be my J Brand denim cut off shorts.  I originally bought my first pair of these three years ago and literally would not take them off, don't judge they are that fabulous.  After realizing that at the rate I was wearing them they were surely not going to make it to the following year, I immediately purchased two additional pairs of them and have stocked up on the colored denim cut offs this past year as well.  Needless to say, I am a believer that cut offs can be appropriate for so many different occasions: the beach, a summertime BBQ, a casual brunch, the movies, a friend's rooftop for dinner, drinks for happy hour, and many more.  I recently came across an amazing deal on some cute colored denim cut offs at two different stores and had to share these budget friendly options with ya'll as well.  Both Topshop and Old Navy have several colors of denim cut offs that are the perfect summer staple.  Old Navy's shorts are only $17.50, at that price you can take one pair in every color! OUTFIT INSPIRATION



Summertime is officially here and that means wedding season is officially upon us.  Both of these outfits would be perfect for any summer wedding, and especially if it's down in Texas with that extreme heat, you want to make sure and dress accordingly.  I am loving these nude sandals right now, wouldn't they go with just about everything possible? And the clutches are a true steal, check them out over on Asos.

SNEAK PEAK...LULULEMON SWIMWEAR

It is no secret that I would wear Lululemon spandex every day of every week for the rest of my life if possible, yes I do believe it is THAT GOOD...so you can only imagine the excitement I felt when I came across a post yesterday on Glamour Magazine giving a sneak peak at the new Lululemon swimwear line launching next week.  Oh my goodness, I can't wait to check it out next week.  Until then, we have the two photos below, which sadly, don't offer too much insight into the greatness I know this swimwear line will be.  If you are not familiar with Lululemon, check out their wunder under crop pants.  These are my favorite of the entire collection, and I truly believe these look good on every any woman, any size, any shape, anytime.  I couldn't resist including a few other favorites currently online at Lululemon right now as well.  Are you a Lulu fan?

Recently, I have seen the coral and cobalt blue combo EVERYWHERE.  I am not one to stray from my "uniform" of black, white, or the occasional red or bright pink, but this color trend is something I'm going to try out for spring/summer.  It's perfect to brighten up your look and there are so many different options out right now to get this look, as shown by Olivia Palermo below, I mean can rock anything she puts on, gorgeous!

Oh and also wanted to remind ya'll that the special edition issue of Domino Magazine, yes you read that right, the quick fixes edition of Domino came out today, and is PHENOMENAL.  Oh how I have missed Domino Magazine! Anyone who isn't familiar with the original Domino Magazine (which ceased publication in 2009), was a fan favorite among those in the decor world primarily because it filled an enormous gap in decor magazines at the time, offering only the extreme high-end and the bare bones budget focused options for decor.  Domino offered a high-low approach to home decor and positioned itself uniquely as the lone youthful home decor magazine, encompassing both chic and bohemian, and accessibility for anyone who picked up the magazine.

The latest special edition, Quick Fixes, offers a look at the best home decorating stories, focusing on easy, inexpensive changes that make a world of a difference.  I would love to know what you think of the new Domino release? Is it going to fill the void for the huge fan base of the old Domino Magazine? 

LINE I'M LOVING: BRAHMIN BAGS

I first discovered  Brahmin's gorgeous bags on Instagram when I saw a photo posted by the Glitter Guide's Taylor Sterling, seen in the photo below.  I tweeted to the Glitter Guide to find out who made the bag and was so happy they took the time to respond and give me the designer name so I could go check the bags out for myself, thank you Glitter Guide! I fell in love with all their spring styles, and would like one of each of these, no seriously.  They are all amazing, so it was certainly hard to narrow down which ones to showcase on the blog, but below are a few of my favorites from their new collection.


MAN REPELLER x DANNIJO

 The Man Repeller's Leandra Medine has done it again with her second collaboration of colorful necklaces and bracelets with the sister duo making up DANNIJO.  MR. DANNIJO Volume II  strikes the perfect balance of femine and masculine themes.  Not to mention, it makes the perfect accessory to complete any spring outfit!  Check out a few of my favorite pieces from the MR DANNIJO line below and check out the entire collaboration on the DANNIJO website. Personally, I would give my left arm (ok maybe just a few fingers, but you get the point) for the GORGEOUS Betty Davis necklace below... HELLO FABULOUS!

EMERSON FRY DESIGNER CRUSH


I had NO idea that the brand formally known as EmersonMade has changed the name to Emerson Fry New York City.  The new spring line is gorgeous and I love EVERYTHING about this new line.  She and her husband have recreated the brand to capture everything I would want in a clothing line, flattering cuts, gorgeous femininity, and a casual look.  Below are a few of my favorite pieces from the spring collection.

NEON BRIGHTS!


 I am loving all of the neon pink, yellow and green that I'm seeing for spring and summer.  I'm in the process of setting up my desk/office area, and while I don't have the kind of space that I did in Austin, I certainly have plenty to work with and sure hope to find a spot for the neon Ampersand prints. I am in LOVE with those.  Also loving the Rag & Bone yellow cut offs, but a bit unsure what those will look like when my tan from Mexico fades, still debatable.  However you choose to add a little touch of neon into your spring and summer wardrobe, all are guaranteed to brighten up your day! If you have a favorite neon must-have that I missed let me know! I would love to check it out!

ZARA SPRING SHOES.



I recently stopped in to Zara on 5th Avenue and was pleasantly surprised at the number of pretty fabulous cute spring sandals that I saw.   They have a ton more than the three cute ones shown above, so I recommend checking out your local Zara store to scope out the rest of their fabulous spring shoe collection, or you can shop online.  I think I am going to have to purchase the two tone wedge shown above.  A perfect addition to the simple spring outfit!

31 HOUR BAG

I started noticing this bag all over billboards here in New York about two months ago, and fell in love with it immediately.  I mean what's not to love, it comes in several bright spring color combinations, and is big enough to carry just about anything a girl could need.  If you're anything like me, the bigger the bag, the better! It certainly is a splurge purchase, but hey, a girl can dream, right?

AND THE AWARD FOR BEST DRESSED...

Absolute favorite dress of the night goes to Michelle Williams in the GORGEOUS Louis Vuitton gown she chose.  She looks stunning! I also loved the dresses on both Emma Stone, who was wearing Giambattista Valli, and Milla Jovovich's white dress by Ellie Saab.  
Heidi Klum looks pretty AMAZING at the Elton John after party, and seriously could Collin Firth and his wife be any more cute? Is it just me or do Brad & Angelina look like dolls, or their Madame Tussaud's wax figures?
